Gary Trichter and Troy McKinney have been working together for close to three decades. As a team, these two DWI Specialists (by the National College for DUI Defense) have litigated many evidentiary hearings, trials, and appeals. Troy now serves as the appellant law and trial strategy advisor for the lawyers of Trichter & LeGrand Troy is known throughout the state as being an extremely gifted scholar of the law. His board certifications include DWI by the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), Board Certified Specialist in Criminal Law and Criminal Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Like Gary, he was past dean of the NCDD and past president of the Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association.
WHAT DOES ”OF COUNSEL” MEAN?
“Of counsel” in the legal profession is the title of a lawyer who has a close, personal, continuous and regular relationship with a law firm but who is not an associate or partner. In regard to the “of counsel” lawyers to Trichter & LeGrand, PC, all of our “of counsels” are employed by our firm in every case they work on with us, and as such, share responsibility for representing our designated clients.
