24/7 FREE CONSULTATION

Do I have the right to use the telephone to call an attorney for DWI assistance?

No. There is no statute or court decision that provides that the police must allow you access to a telephone in order for you to speak to a attorney for DWI assistance and advice. However, you do have the right to stop all interrogation questions until your lawyer is present.
