J. GARY TRICHTER VOTED “BEST LAWYER IN AMERICA” BY WOODWARD WHITE, INC. FOR 2013

DWI Specialist Gary Trichter

The founder of Trichter & LeGrand, PC, J. Gary Trichter, a prominent Houston DWI lawyer, has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the 20th Edition of The Best Lawyers in America by Woodward White, Inc. in the DUI/DWI Defense practice area.

The Houston DWI lawyer was selected for the eleventh time.

Selection to Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive, rigorous peer-review survey of more than three million confidential evaluations by top attorneys across the United States.

Because no fee or purchase is required, listing in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor, according to the publication.

J. Gary Trichter is a leader and one of the most successful DWI trial and appellate lawyers in the United States.

He is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest professional and ethical rating a lawyer can receive.

Gary co-authored the DWI textbook Texas Drunk Driving Law and is the founding member of the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD).

In July, he was honored with the Erwin-Taylor Award by the (NCDD) at their annual session held at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Gary was the first DWI Specialist in the State of Texas who is Board-certified DWI/DUI Defense by the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), the sole entity approved by the American Bar Association to grant such a qualification.

Currently, the Texas Bar Association does not have a DWI defense board certification, but it does recognize the ABA DWI board certification.
